Description

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) SkillsUSA students found success at the recent State Contest in Columbus. Twenty-two of the MVCTC SkillsUSA students placed first in their contest and qualified to participate at the National Level Contest this June in Kansas City, MO.



The area students placing in the recent SkillsUSA contests are:

• Krista Haman (Northmont), 1st place in Advertising Design Contest. Qualified for National SkillsUSA Contest in Kansas City, MO.

• Nicolle Reed (Northmont), 1st place in Open and Closing Team Contest. Qualified for National SkillsUSA Contest in Kansas City, MO.

• Chris Harkless (Northmont), 1st place in Precision Machining Contest. Qualified for National SkillsUSA Contest in Kansas City, MO.

• Taylor Packet (Northmont), 1st place in Web Design Team Contest. Qualified for National SkillsUSA Contest in Kansas City, MO.

• Sam Bennett (Northmont), 1st place in Web Design Team Contest. Qualified for National SkillsUSA Contest in Kansas City, MO.

• Kristen Haws (Northmont), 2nd place in Advertising Design Contest.
