Description

The Legal Assistant program is designed to prepare students to enter the legal field with a wealth of legal knowledge. You will be trained to understand as well as prepare legal documents by learning the entire Microsoft Office Suite. The areas of law that will be studied are trial procedures, criminal law, civil law, family law, juvenile law, estate planning, probate,bankruptcy, real property, torts, and contracts. We also study the organization of the law office and the court systems.
