Diesel Power Technologies
Learn to service and perform preventive maintenance to the ensure safe operation of large trucks, tractors, combines, and other heavy equipment. During the junior year in the Diesel Power Technologies program, students will learn to diagnose, disassemble, test, repair, and reassemble a diesel engine, including fuel systems, and check, adjust, repair power trains, and identify and use fasteners and tools. Senior year students will be able to service air conditioning systems, identify, troubleshoot, and service electrical and electronic systems, and identify, troubleshoot, and service hydraulic systems.
