Description

Students will learn to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock in the Precision Machining program, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools. Study paper drawings, SolidWorks, operating a drill press, power saws, honing machines, milling machines, lathes, surface grinding, and computer numeric control (CNC).
