Automotive Technology

Automotive Technology is a two-year program covering safety and service procedures for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas, including Brakes, Steering and Suspension Systems, Electrical Systems, Engine Repair, and Engine Performance. Students will gain knowledge from hands-on projects in the lab working on customers' cars. Necessary skills are taught to operate computerized diagnostic equipment used in the industry.

Auto Services

The Auto Service program is a two-year program for students interested in automotive and truck service employment and advancement. Students will learn the necessary skills to conduct automotive tune-ups, repair brakes, tire service, exhaust service, engine operations, oil changes, and other basic maintenance and repair.

Auto Collision

The Auto Collision program areas of preparation include automobile dent repairing, welding, auto detailing, removing and replacing parts, electrical systems, cooling systems, and estimating. This program provides instruction in repairing plastics, fiberglass and rubber bumpers, and refinishing metals and plastics used to manufacture automobiles and trucks.

In the Robotics and Automation program, students will be introduced to many aspects of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM). Study robotic applications in manufacturing, material handling, welding, computer numeric control (CNC) programming, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SolidWorks design software, data acquisition and analysis, and work cell development. Compete in SkillsUSA contests for Urban Search & Rescue, Additive Manufacturing, and Automated Manufacturing.
